Why volunteer for JBF?
Volunteers shop EARLY!! Our volunteers shop on Wednesday, August 4th, before we open to the public and even before our consignors! The more you volunteer the earlier you shop. We have 5, 10 & 15 hour volunteers. We also have a few barter jobs (because we know not everyone can work a shift) that will earn a presale pass. We are planning for 900 consignors at our next sale. Just consider the advantage you have when you shop early, working a few hours or doing a barter job can make a huge difference! For volunteer shifts sign up here. We need lots and lots of hands to make the sale run smoothly. Volunteers are needed to organize, help with consignor inspection and drop off, run checkout, and more! Its lots of fun to get a group of friends together and volunteer at the same time! Follow this link to our online signup page and register as a volunteer. Answers to Frequently Asked Questions:
~ Don't worry if you have never volunteered before, we will show you what to do when you arrive.
~ Consignors may pick up their volunteer presale pass at the information table during drop off .
~ If you are not consigning you may pick up your pass just before the presale begins.
~ Please bring any food/drink (with small cooler if desired) that you might need during your shift & wear comfortable clothing.
~ This presale is for volunteers only! Husbands, mothers & friends must earn their own pass to attend the presale.
~ Children are not allowed at the presale. Nursing babies in a snugli may attend if needed. No babies in strollers.
~ If you work breakdown you may pick up your unsold items after your shift.
