Stacey Losher (right) is co-owner of the Garland, Texas sale. She is married to Greg and they have 3 daughters, Madison, McKenzie, & Mary Cate and one son, Maddox. They stay very involved with their church. Stacey attended the Lewisville sale in the fall of 2002, with her friend, Susan, and they were amazed! Susan, is sister-in-law to Shannon Wilburn, a founder of Just Between Friends, and now Stacey's business partner. Stacey says, "I love how everyone benefits from the sale: consignors and shoppers! I knew so many of my friends would benefit from it and I wanted to make some extra money." Stacey tells new franchisees to work hard at recruiting new consignors, and find a new place to recruit before every sale. Go to meetings where there will be moms and make personal contacts. The more people you know the more likely they are to get involved in your sale. We doubled in size from our first sale in March of 2002 to our second sale and we expect to grow each sale. I love that you have a lot of downtime with this business. If you would like to contact Stacey you may email her at Stacey@jbfsale.com

Susan Newhouse (left) is co-owner of the Garland, Texas Just Between Friends Sale. She is married to Jim and they have a daughter, Natalie, and a son, Trey. She has a Speech-Language Pathology degree, and is working in that profession while doing JBF on the side. Her family attends Saturn Road Church of Christ and is very involved there. Susan says, "I heard about the sale from my sister-in-law, Shannon. It has been exciting watching her sale grow and be SO successful that I had to get in on it too. I knew it would be a lot of work, but I can tell it is going to be worth it. I want it to be large enough to be able to supplement my husband's income so our family can do what we want to do." Being able to work with a friend is so fun and it is a nice feeling like you are helping others by doing a sale. We are not only helping our chosen charities, but we are helping our friends make money on items that would have to give away or sell at a garage sale. I want our sale to grow and grow. I would suggest to any new franchisee to ASK QUESTIONS!!!! It is so helpful to go to an exisiting sale to see how they actually work. You can contact Susan at: Susan@jbfsale.com
